See the very best of Azerbaijan in three unforgettable days. This 3-day Azerbaijan tour from Baku is a complete, door-to-door package: we collect you from the airport, show you the UNESCO-listed capital, drive you high into the Caucasus to the legendary mountain village of Khinalig, and finish in the ancient Land of Fire before your flight home. One private guide, one comfortable vehicle, zero logistics to worry about — just three perfectly paced days. It's the most complete of our tours in Azerbaijan.

Your 3-Day Azerbaijan Itinerary at a Glance

  • Day 1 — Arrival & Baku: airport pickup, hotel check-in, then the modern Baku City Tour and the medieval Old City (Icherisheher).
  • Day 2 — Khinalig: a full day in the mountains via Guba and the spectacular Qudyalchay canyon to Khinalig, one of the highest and oldest continuously inhabited villages on Earth.
  • Day 3 — Land of Fire & departure: Ramana Castle, the painted village of Balakhani and the eternal flames of Yanardag, then your airport transfer.

Day 1 — Arrival in Baku, City & Old City

Your tour begins the moment you land. We meet you at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) and transfer you to your hotel to settle in. Once you're ready, the Baku City Tour unfolds the modern capital: panoramic views from Highland Park over the Caspian and the famous Flame Towers, a stroll along the Seaside Boulevard and Mini Venice, and Zaha Hadid's flowing Heydar Aliyev Center. We then step back a thousand years into Icherisheher, the walled Old City — the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, hidden caravanserais and stone lanes where Baku's whole story began.

Day 2 — Khinalig, the Village in the Clouds

Today we leave the coast and climb into the Greater Caucasus. We drive north through the apple town of Guba, cross the river to the unique Red Settlement, then wind up the breathtaking Qudyalchay canyon road. The destination is Khinalig (Xınalıq) — a UNESCO-recognised village perched above 2,300 metres, home to a people with their own ancient language and 5,000 years of unbroken history. Stone houses cling to the slopes, woodsmoke drifts over the rooftops, and the mountain panoramas are simply unforgettable.

Day 3 — The Land of Fire & Your Departure

Your final day explores why Azerbaijan is called the Land of Fire. We visit the 14th-century Ramana Castle, wander the pastel murals and flower-filled lanes of the Balakhani painted village, and stand before Yanardag, the hillside where natural flames have burned without pause for centuries. Then we take care of your departure with two flexible options:

  • Option A — same-day departure: after the morning sightseeing we transfer you directly to the airport for an afternoon or evening flight.
  • Option B — extra night: enjoy a relaxed final afternoon and overnight in Baku, with your airport transfer the next morning — ideal for early or late flights.
