Day 1 — Arrival in Baku, City & Old City

We meet you at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) and transfer you to your hotel. Once you're settled, the Baku City Tour takes in Highland Park's panorama over the Flame Towers, the Seaside Boulevard and Mini Venice, and the Heydar Aliyev Center. We finish in Icherisheher, the walled Old City — the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the hidden caravanserais.

Day 2 — Shamakhi & Gabala

We drive north-west into wine and mountain country. First stop is the Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in the Caucasus, then the forests and suspension bridges around Ismayilli. By afternoon we reach Gabala — Nohur Lake, the Seven Beauties waterfall and, for those who'd like it, the Tufandag cable car for sweeping Caucasus views. Overnight in Gabala.

Day 3 — Sheki, the Silk Road Jewel

A short, beautiful drive brings us to Sheki, the highlight of the trip. We tour the Khan's Palace, a UNESCO masterpiece famous for its shebeke stained-glass windows, walk the 18th-century caravanserai and old town, and visit the ancient Kish church nearby. Don't leave without trying Sheki's legendary halva. Overnight in Sheki or Gabala.

Day 4 — Return to Baku & Departure

After a relaxed morning we make the scenic drive back to the capital, with photo stops along the way. Your departure is flexible:

  • Option B — extra night: a final evening in Baku and an airport transfer the next morning.
