How many hours should the driver wait?

Three hours covers the museum and the petroglyph trails at an unhurried pace. Allow four if you also want the mud volcanoes, which are a separate drive beyond the reserve.

Can we reach the mud volcanoes in a normal car?

The reserve itself is on asphalt, but the last stretch to the mud volcano field is a rough unpaved track. Tell us when you book if you want to include it, so we send a vehicle suited to that section rather than turning back at the gate.

Is a transfer cheaper than your Gobustan tour?

Can we continue to Shirvan National Park the same day?

Yes, that pairing works well — Shirvan is further along the same road south. It is a longer day, so tell us both destinations when you book and we will price the full journey rather than two separate legs.

Are entrance tickets included?

No. A transfer covers the vehicle and driver only. Entrance to the reserve and the museum is paid on arrival.
