A private transfer from Baku to Sheki — about 305 km and four and a half hours, the longest single leg we run as a standard route.

Sheki is the Silk Road town in the Caucasus foothills, with the UNESCO-listed Khan's Palace and an 18th-century caravanserai you can still stay in. At this distance a fixed price per vehicle is simply a different product from a metered ride, and most travellers pair the transfer with at least one night rather than turning straight round.

Choose your vehicle

Prices are per vehicle for the whole journey, not per passenger. A round trip and driver waiting time can be added on the booking form.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sheki doable as a day trip from Baku?
Physically yes, but it is nine hours of driving for a few hours in the town. We will book it if you want it, and we will also say plainly that an overnight is the better trip.
How long is the drive?
Around four and a half hours for roughly 305 km, on good roads most of the way. Comfort stops are built in — tell the driver when you need one.
Can we stop in Shamakhi or Gabala on the way?
Yes, both are on or near the route. Add waiting hours for the stops you want; the distance is already covered by the Sheki fare, so a stop costs waiting time rather than a second transfer.
Can you take us on to Gabala afterwards?
Yes — Gabala to Sheki is a standard 90 km leg we price separately, so a Baku to Gabala to Sheki trip is easy to build. Tell us the whole plan and we will quote it as one journey.
Is a transfer or your Sheki tour better value?
For two or three people wanting the history explained, our Sheki day trip usually wins. For a family with luggage heading to a hotel, the transfer does the job the tour cannot.
