What the ride is like

After pickup in Baku and the drive to the mountains, you transfer by off-road vehicle to the trailhead, meet your horse and instructor, and set off along a river through cool forest. The route covers around 6 km at an easy mountain pace, so it suits confident beginners as well as experienced riders. Roughly halfway you stop for a wood-fired picnic in the forest, then finish with tea and wild-berry jam at a village teahouse with sweeping views.
